Nominated Design contst Cor Unum, Keep playing 2023A set of plaster building blocks for the design contest of Cor Unum Designed to ‘Keep playing’.
When she was younger Mariko and her brother who suffers Down Syndome, used to play with building blocks. This is a memory that directly came up in her head when she was thinking about the theme ‘Keep playing’. With the plaster blocks Mariko hopes to capture the memory of her childhood and translate them in to now. The mould holds the memory and you will build a new memory.
